How it all started...
The Bible Way Church of Aiken began as a mission in September of 1993 with Bible Study conducted on the first and third Tuesdays and second and fourth Saturdays. The Smith-Hazel Recreation Center was the location of these studies until the Lord blessed us with the use of a church on Trolley Line Rd.
On Friday, June 9 1995, we were blessed with a building on 127 Williamsburg Street, SE, across from the Farmers Market. The first service was held on June 23rd.
On Sunday, September 17, 1995, then Elder Alexander Dwight was installed as Pastor and the church was consecrated and chartered into the Bible Way Organization.
Our present sanctuary, which sits on 5.6670 acres of land, was dedicated to the Lord on Sunday July 22, 2001.
